CIW Registered Manager

As the Registered Manager for CIW at Everest Recruitment and Services, you will assume a leadership role, offering effective guidance to our Care Management Team and Care Staff. Your primary objective will be to ensure compliance with company standards, local and national governance, as well as meeting the requirements set by the Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW). You will oversee the delivery of CIW-registered care services, emphasizing a person-centred approach to maximize independence. This role may require flexible working hours, including participation in on-call duties on a rotational basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day Care Delivery operations and keep the Senior Management Team and Directors informed.

Perform Care Assessments and develop Care Plans.

Collaborate with CIW inspectors and inspections.

Provide support for on-call duties and care tasks as needed.

Ensure the highest standard of care in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Recognize, assess, and meet the Human Rights of each client, supporting clients in making decisions aligned with their preferences for how they want to live their lives.

Oversee your team of Care Managers and Deputy Registered Manager, ensuring the highest service quality for our Personal Assistants (PAs) and Clients.

Work with the Human Resources department to implement all employment legislation.

Organize or supervise the creation of staff schedules and on-call rotations using our company scheduling software.

Qualifications:

Essential:

Hold a Level 5 NVQ in Health and Social Care or an equivalent qualification and experience.

A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Health & Social Care environment, ideally in a management role.

Desirable:

Experience in liaising with external agencies at a senior level.

Knowledge and experience of regulated services, fundamental care standards, and key lines of inquiries.
